Our Story

DEKKERS is a prime ribeye steak sandwich business located in Christchurch, New Zealand, that specializes in serving mouth-watering toasted ciabatta with Dekkers' own butter, homemade smokey relish, rocket, and torched Swiss cheese. Our meat is sourced from Halswell Butchery, with a focus on Canterbury-reared and grass-fed products.

We also offer a vegetarian option and various optional extras including homemade spicy relish, sautéed mushrooms, blue cheese spread, and chorizo.

Our target audience includes individuals who appreciate high-quality, gourmet sandwiches, as well as families, students, and everyday people looking for a delicious and satisfying meal.

In the Kitchen

DEKKERS approach to cooking, is simple, clean and precise.
Creating the homemade relish from scratch takes 2 days to prep and complete.

Fresh mushrooms are sauteed and our blue cheese is mixed with cream and melted down to create a creamy blue cheese spread. Our special butter is created with secret ingredient's to leave that lingering flavour on your tongue.
